It was in reply to Krusty’s comment on Fowler being “their guy” (HuGo’s) - doesn’t matter how well Primeau is playing Fowler will get the playoff start (as Price did in place of Halak & Danis in 2007) … after he’s done playing for Habs of course

The Caps can be beaten. Everything you've just said about them was said about them when Halak and Co. beat them in 2010.

The problem is that this time, the Habs don't have Halak. They have Monty and he is definitely not clutch.

Can't really say that as he hasn't really been in those situations. He just kind of sucks. Maybe he'll be like Binnington who also kind of sucks but was clutch in the gold medal game.

I see a lot of Steve “butterfly” Penney in Fowler - not sure long term if he’ll be the steady answer as a #1 or tandem, but like 1984 playoffs I could see an out of nowhere “run”

To be honest I would like to see Dobes just grab the job and run with it - he’s got Halak type fight to his play, and the advantage of size Halak didn’t have, but he’s just too noisy in nets, needs to find a way to calm his movement down
