WTF is with the quacking canard?RHP makes it 3-2.
was a bad gameTerrible game. Glad it’s over. I don’t know who lost more, the Habs or anyone like me who wasted time and attention on this trash. Yay. Tank.
Probably the cross check in overtime that did it.We can't go a game without a player getting injured.
MSL should have known that Farrell wasn't called up and sent to meet the team on the road for no reason. He was going to play either in Buffalo or Philly otherwise they'd have just told him to go directly to Brossard.Bad game but an interesting mini schism as reported by the Athletic
When St. Louis met with the media a little less than two hours before the game against the Flyers and was asked what made him feel ready Farrell was ready to play, he did not hold back.
“That’s a question for Kent,” St. Louis said.
He was asked again, and the answer was the same.
Kent, of course, is general manager Kent Hughes, the inference being that Farrell playing that game was a management decision, when the lineup is clearly a coach’s responsibility. The fact that Primeau was starting in his hometown, in the rink in which he watched his dad, Keith, play, was also likely a management decision, but one St. Louis at least appeared to be on board with, one he was informed of beforehand and one he felt comfortable explaining publicly. The Farrell decision was clearly different.
Nice story and earning NHL moneyWTF is with the quacking canard?
And Kent’s reasoning is likely a combo of understanding where Farrell is at relative to NHL / maybe even part of trade evaluation and this..Bad game but an interesting mini schism as reported by the Athletic

MSL showing his inexperience a bit.
It's a bit nuts to dress a guy that hasn't had even one professional hockey practice.MSL showing his inexperience a bit.
He has to answer that question though, and he's probably already a bit annoyed. "No comment" wouldn't have cut it either.Yeah…I get why he’d be upset but he’s got to keep that shit internal
