I'm not sure I would call this a "good" Newhook. It's like the worst season of his career.

He's better served on wing. Trade someone with picks for that center if we miss out on signing Duchene or another quality center.

I have to disagree with you here. He has speed. He plays a perimeter game far too often avoiding contact and peels off finishing a check just as often. I'm sure that's how he stays healthy.
Anderson has found his niche after coming to terms with the fact that he's just not a top six line driver. Newhook has to come to terms that he can be a better Jake Evans, a bottom line guy that does important things but doesn't avoid contact.
Alex Newhook will always leave you wanting more. He's not the answer and is easily replaceable. He's playing himself off the team with the youth coming up.

Fair enough, I don't think he plays perimeter game as much as you think, he likes to go up the middle, he goes to the net, so i don't see a perimeter game, he just needs to slow his game down sometimes.. having said that, i rather have a healthy Dach as 2C than 15..

Ha ha. I think Dach is done. Missed a year for major knee surgery. Comes back plays 50 odd games season ends with more surgery on the same knee. No biggie though be happy to move on from both players .
Only cause Hutson looks 12.
