I get it goes against the grain and finishing 5th from bottom is better than 6th, assuming Coyotes do not beat the Cannots, but I wouild like to win the last game of the year, just like last year as it will be the last NHL game I watch until October. We have lost way too many in a row to these assholes.

That said, if we lose, so be it.

We have 21 Reg wins to their 20 and 26 ROW to their 25, so I suspect we would be ahead of them if ended up tied

Not gonna happen since AZ plays on the west coast and our game will be over by the time the puck drops in Vancouver.

And no, we cannot under any circumstances, risk getting so much as a single point. If we get a welfare point and AZ loses in regulation we wind up tied but with more wins than the Yotes, which fucks us. We must lose and lose in 60 minutes. Any other scenario (aside from a win by AZ) fucks us.
