I mean, if anyone would want to play the game of their lives it would be the call-up's from the AHL who are auditioning for jobs next season, yes? Aho and Slavin could go for the proverbial "Sunday skate" tomorrow night as they've nothing to prove and are just waiting for the playoffs. But a prospect called up to play a real NHL game is going to be super motivated to make a good impression.
