5OA will give us a better choice for our forward. I expect one forward and 2 D to be drafted after Celebrini.

It increases your odds of winning the lottery. I don't care how slight the increase is, it's still something I want more than a useless, instant gratification, win tonight.
One of Lindtsrom or Demidov could realistically be available at 5OA.

Nah. Slightly better odds for a lotto win, and a better draft slot, and less odds of moving down.
Nobody will remember this game by next week.

Yep, and I know I’ll be slightly upset if/when we pass on Demidov.
I’m not really sold on Lindstrom. I like the tool set and fit, but really unclear about his projection.

And I see Demidov listed as a winger, not a center. Lindstrom is a center, and a big one.

The idea of a player with a profile like Lindstrom being a Hab is intriguing, especially with the smaller forwards.

Lindstrom has better IQ (that’s a low bar), but I don’t see an elite package potential. I actually like Iginla better.
Lindstrom is in the same situation as Slaf , projecting 3-4 years down the road
Great wheels , but years away from being a finished product
One of my customers says the Habs brass has been in London quite a bit probably looking at Dickinson
Demidov is the prize , Lindstrom is the project
Dickinson is a fucken horse , no issue if he is our pick

My only issue is that I don't see a lot of teams trading top 6 forwards for defensemen, Drysdale-Gauthier being the obvious exception. I know drafting for need has it's shortcoming, but we really need top 6 forwards. Hoping for a trade is a huge gamble, but if we think he has #1D potential, then yeah, go for it.
