GDT Game Three 07/05/23.... A For Real, No Shit, Must Win Game

I envy LeafGM because he never let himself get sucked back in. But it may be time to admit this group doesn't have "it" folks.

A talented group no doubt but mentally fragile. Its been 7 years with these guys mostly together. They are a bad mix. None of them wants to step up and take control.
 
Everything leading up to that second goal was pathetic. Marner soft shit in transition, Matthews just wanted to know how verhaege smells, McCabe running around like a nut sets a screen.
 
Florida was no worse than Toronto during the season imo, with some poor luck and much worse goaltending. But they shouldn't be getting smoked like this. Down 2-0 you'd hope for something more competitive. Barkov is good but he shouldn't completely eliminate one of the best duos in hockey. Puzzling.
 
All I'm going to say is every winless team in the second round had their stars show up for the win.
