GDT: Habs @ New and Improved Leafs

Habsy has a long and proud history of beating the meaning of words into... complete.... oblivion

…like, I thought he got it with his being on the side of the argument that Matthews is a more “complete” player than Keon.

But then no-offense-Gainey is a more “complete” player than Keon at the same time? Head-scratcher.

For 2 years he certainly was more than complete. In fact he was among the best players in the league.
Out of what? Almost 20 years?

Come in man. Good player but seriously, not to be mentioned as your best complete player.

Complete should be, by definition, a player who you can send out in all situations with confidence.
I would say, Mitch Marner, is the most complete player on the current roster.

Not to non leaf fans

So cute.

BUT KEEEEEEEOOOOOOOOON!!!!

LOL

Best way to sum up Dougie vs Keon is that Keon and Dougie were similar offensively (compared to their contemporaries...Dougie was a legit #1 centre but only really sniffed elite production once compared to centres of the era) but as good as Dougie was defensively, Keon a firm step above.

I went through some numbers last night with how the best centres of the era did against the Leafs head to head and Keon dad dicked most of them. Guys who were firmly PPG+ against the rest of the league were putting up like 8 points in 14 games against the Leafs and shit.

Anyway. Enjoy your awesome legends and those that did shit for 55 years.

And you guys make fun of the sens.

So funny.

I'm out. You're all boring. KEON!
😂😂

Gilmour was exceptionally good for the Leafs for the two years 93-94. In one of those year he won, wait for it, the Selke!
And in both years, he had north of 100 points.

Pretty complete player, for those 2 seasons, I would say....
