GDT: Habs @ New and Improved Leafs

This must be the best anthem ROR has ever had before a game.

First Canadian team, so first time it's being sung for his side, and with his hometown Leafs no less.
 
Eh we probably do this when we “shouldn’t” have any need to worry about the other teams bottom 2 lines.
 
Worth remembering that as per the nerdies, most of RORs value offensively is his puck distribution. We want him to distribute to Tavares and Marner and not Kerfoot and Engvall I think.

That makes sense to me.

I don't mind stacking but then I'd like to see one of the two bottom lines have a bit more of an offensive pop.

Definitely. And it will. Pretty confident they'll add at least one more guy up front to add to the third line, or it'll push ROR down.

And they already play the shit out of their top two lines (and ROR probably won't be on pp1) so you want to maximize his ice time as much as possible because he's clearly their 5th or 6th best forward. If he's on the third line it'll be tough to get him the ice time he should receive.
 
Getting the ROR deal out of the way makes the time leading up to the deadline even more intriguing than it was, because would Dubie actually bring in someone better than him now?

As much as I love Meier, now that we have ROR, I'd like to see a cheap Garland deal if it means not losing Knies.
