GDT: Hurricanes vs Panthers, 11/29, 3PM

Our goalie gamble finally caught up with us. Glad to see us make a comeback in the 2nd, but the Cats looked hungrier as the game wore on. Several players in addition to Martin were not good. Burns had a terrible game and Svech looks lost. We didn't suck, but we can't always overcompensate for bad goaltending. Martin has played some good games for us, but relying on him for consecutive games is a roll of the dice.

Look ... that was a 50/50 game that tipped on some truly bad goaltending. Are there other things to address? Sure. Do any of them really matter in a game where your goalie barfs up 2.75 goals above expected? Nah. They got Bob on a day when he didn't have his fastball and managed to lose. Nobody will ever feel good about that and it was nice to see Martin take his criticism like a grownup after the game. Now, go do better on Saturday.
