The one thing that has really bugged me about Samsonovs play is that it is far too often "paint by numbers" in that he is incapable of just being a natural goaltending talent but solely relies on positional play and then prays the puck hits him somewhere. When it comes to making the saves that are not positional then things start to fall apart quickly....and without solid D backing him up...even quicker.
 
Also the absolute worst start from Sammy where he wasn't pulled (and probably should have been pulled).
