GDT: Minnesota Wildlings @ Canadiens - Sat Mar 12 - 2016 - 7:00 pm ET

I tried to watch a full game tonight. Hard to focus. No intensity. Maybe I'll have more interest watching the playoffs, when other teams are playing. Which seems strange....

It is always pain to watch playoff without Habs there but well at least some quality hockey.

Last year's playoffs were the first time in a very long time that they had been underwhelming. Every previous year, though, man oh man. The NHL's first round of the playoffs is magical.

Barberio, from being scratched in training camp to 6th-7th defenseman after being called up to IN and OUT of line up later on, to become regular 3rd pairing then to second pairing and tonight to first pairing and playing around 26 minutes, second most used Habs after Markov, beauty of 2015-2016 season :)

There was some great games last year. Anaheim-Chicago comes to mind.

No playoff hockey for me. If the Habs aren't playing then my only interest is in watching teams I hate lose. But those teams aren't going to the playoffs either so I don't really care who wins. I won't give any of my attention or money to Bettman or Rogers.

yeah I won't be watching much either.

I'm constantly told he us a rookie who has done a terrific job. ;)

the first goal is on him no doubt, but really why get upset, the season is finish, let the rookies go out and make the mistakes, isn't that what we want, for rookies to learn at this level? Condon's mistake is no different than 27 learning to play without the puck, or # 28 making a bad pass that leads to a goal against.. etc..

except his numerous mistakes end up in the net.

Also the two month slump started immediately after the game the Caps beat the Habs 3-2 on three house league quality goals surrendered by Condon. It's not his fault that the GM ignored the problem all season. After the first go round, the league figured out that Condon's lateral movement is weak and it was game over.
