Holy. Freddys jersey looked black from puck marks and Ward looks like he's still in pregame warm-up. I'm calling this a coaching thing.

How does a coaching staff get a bunch of grown men up for a game? System is not working? Sure but if they are not skating and have no interest in engaging the play then that's on them

Obviously they are not pressing the right buttons.

The players deserve the majority of the blame. But that doesn't mean the coaching staff should be absolved of their role.
 
They've had weak starts for several weeks now. That's definitely on the coaching staff. Get the ****ing team ready already!
 
Not at all but if I'm not motivated to do my job you don't blame my boss

If the system he has in place doesn't allow me to do my job efficiently then I can point the finger at him

The Canes game just looks polished compared to the Leafs who seem to always look like they are running around picking up assignments. Also Hainsey is the Leafs dman with most PK time....a journeyman dman is our most dependable defensive dman....start shopping.
