I also said he'd be a really good player. I questioned if he had high end offensive upside and have been kind enough to provide an actual functioning definition of what the fuck that means.

I was obviously kidding with the one of the best players remark.

As for the rest...you said he'd be a really good player? I don't recall anyone else having that view. Only talk about how his skating was bad, his moves wouldn't translate, his NCAA production meant he was nothing, how we should trade on the hype...

Because I don't think he's going to be an impact offensive player (I used to call that 25-0/60 but league scoring is higher now, so let's call it 30/70) and if we could get something that is an impact offensive player that is already that, instead of waiting a few years for whatever Knies is going to be, we should.
