Sure. If he can put up 40+ points? He's an NHLer, even if he might move around a little. But if he's a 20-25 point d-man? He's not going to last long.

Yeah but rein in that offensive talent and get him to average D and there's something there.

Or better, find a way to improve the D and let that offence flow. The kid has talent.

And find a Jeff Beukeboom to partner.

I'd love to see Mailloux & Guhle paired together in a year. Their skillsets could work very well.
