Let's hope our dominance over the Ducks continue tonight, though I know for sure the Ducks are looking for revenge after the last tilt where we embarrassed them at ACC. In the last game the Ducks outshot us 42-27, I am pretty sure that is not going to happen tonight.

The overall vibe around the Leafs dressing room is positive and relaxed after the coaching change, despite the 1-2 record in 3 games. Players all point to the improved defence and easier outlet passes as to reason to believe they will get better on the standing too ... of course, that only works when we actually start winning games, and I believe that will come - hopefully as soon as tonight.

Not much changes to roster otherwise. Komarov is expected to play tonight, as is everybody from the Monday night tilt.

Bernier, who has a lifetime 5-0-1 record vs the Ducks, will get the nod tonight. Most probably Reimer will start tomorrow.

Horachek put together the 'hero line' of JVR-Bozak-Kessel near the end of the 3rd period in last game, but he said that was only because he was pushing for a tying goal, and hinted he will revert to the same lineup that started last game.

Zeke, when the sample size is large enough, would you be willing and able to add a line showing the corsi numbers since Randy was fired?
 
That'a tricky. I can find the splits for raw corsi, but not for zonestart adjusted corsi. Which means I would have to add in a zone start stat too. Not sure what do.
 
I'm glad we have this string of road games to iron out the boring, hopefully we'll get the offence going once they figure out a happy medium. (if?)

I'm actually thinking our change in style may hurt us tonight...we've been beating Anaheim regularly, but that's been playing run and gun. For some reason I think tonight will be bad for us.
 
Another excellent period against an excellent team.

Too bad about the rare 2 min 2 man advantage, but we shoulda scored on one of those odd man rushes.
