Hard to sit here and act like Bob is not on one right now. Past performance goes out the window when a goalie is on a heater and he has been since late in the first round

hey after Bennet took out Knies I have no qualms. I dislike that I have no qualms, but I want my team to win and that's what it takes in this stupid neanderthal league I continue to support

The Knies one bugs me. Takes a hockey hit, but then gets slammed to the ice in MMA fashion (non hockey-related). Kid is taken off the ice concussed. I guess one could argue that it would be impossible to determine exactly where the concussion happened - but given that the bodyslam was completely unnecessary, perhaps it should have been punished.

Bennett put his arm behind Knies’ head and drove his face into the glass, before he slammed him head-first into the ice.

Don’t get this. Mitchy started it, then got tkachuk to lose his mind, then ate a soft jab and called tkachuk a little bitch and laughed in his face. Dude didn’t crawl back into the womb like bunting or skate away. It was the closest Marner has been to showing toughness. Must be that beard giving him balls.

Im always mildly surprised this doesn’t happen more….you break the gentlemens agreement and have a Bennett play, or Gudas?…..it’s goalie runnin time!

What drove me the most nuts was that Bennet used his stick and the boards to create list a triangle choke hold to drive him into the glass, with the stick used as leverage on his neck and then rock bottomed him.

Now add the flying in head first into the pile and punching Mccabe while montour is on top as well.

Why is that not the third man in and an instigator.

But the cherry on top is Maurice's smug ass comments and swearing after the game. I hated it when he was the leafs coach and I hate it even more now.

The only good thing that Nick Kypreos ever did was take out Cujo in that St. Louis series.

I really think you’re on to something more plausible than people realize here.….yes he’s had a great series so far, but he had three games in the .800’s versus Boston, so it’s not like he’s on a Carey Price, Patrick Roy type run.

he was also .900 over 50 games in the regular season…..i absolutely can see us getting a couple cheap ones, and then the flood gates open.
