As frustrated as I am and as much as I can't forgive the coach for not making any adjustments, I guess this drubbing makes it extremely obvious that we need to make some moves. Get a legit top 2 center.

the whole lineup is screwed up because we are missing a 2C

I'm guessing the return wouldn't be enough, but I wonder what kind of return we could get for Dobes from a team that's desperate for goaltending. Of course, it's not actually something we'd do I do wonder what you can get.

It depends which 2C you can get for him. If it's Nico Hischier I would do it. McTavish? Not so much.

We all trust Hughes.....but at some point, gotta realize that everyone wants these 1C-2C players, and you can't lowball to get them.

He's gonna have to overpay at some point, it's almost unavoidable...you won't get Nico Hischier for Evans+Newhook+Engstrom packages

not worried....i've been advocating overpaying to get the center....you know that for the past 20 years on this board i've been relating all the Habs failures to not having top centers...

and nobody, including the small army of "reporters" that follow the Habs, knew Dobson was available

so, I'm not buying what they're selling concerning the Habs next moves
