Yup. I’ve dropped out. I’m middle aged and coasting. I have some wealth. The rest is cash flow. I work odd gigs here and there, earn little and pay almost no tax. I’ll never really retire but my kid’s education is taken care of. I own a hundred acres within an hour of town so I can build homes for the family as needed. Life is easy and good. Better to wear a name tag and have no responsibility. Life is easy by leaving the professional world behind me.
