Habs News & Notes: 2013-14 Season

I think he is done for the playoffs.

That would mean a completely torn ligament like Emelin last year; if that was the case the org would've likely said he's done for the season pending surgery - unless Galchenyuk was willing to play without a ligament like Gorges, but given his need for lateral movement as an offensive fwd I can't envision the Habs allowing it.

I think this is good news (relatively speaking), it's likely a partially torn ligament (sprain), and they need to wait a couple of weeks for the swelling to subside while putting him through physio, they'll strap a brace on him & I suspect he'll be ready to go sometime in round 2 - if the habs make it there....

Maybe our resident physician can weigh in - Cheliosity....

Mac Bennett and Jacob de la Rose are both skating in Brossard today, working with Brisebois.

Hopefully de la Rose plays in North America next season.

I'd like to see DLR in Windsor next year. One year to North American hockey and then he can come play in Hamilton.

Therrien says Eller is still suffering from the flu and won't play tomorrow night.

Prust is doing well, team is hoping he will be ready next week. Moen skated yesterday but his return is not imminent.

Why?

If its to replace Chucky... then Andrighetto is playing best.

Why? Because there is no cigars out-of-the-box thinking on this management team. They consistently go with their previous moves regardless of whether or not they work.
