Basically called him up so they wouldn't have to dress Parros tonight.

Feel bad for Parros because he's well liked and has the willingness to do his job but he just can't keep up hockey wise and can't really win fights anymore.

He's pretty much done I think

Parros being completely & utterly worthless was the easiest thing to predict this season.

I said it a thousand times this year, but when you acquired Parros, you got the single worst player from the worst team in the league last year.

If you absolutely need a goon, you can find 'em in the AHL. Just get the fastest skating one you can find and pay him league minimum.

I don't think MB denied to see that, but what he wanted was a guy that was a presence and had a rep and would accept to play once in ten games and not complain.

Basically play vs the Leafs, Bruins, Sens and that's it

Character, Parros is known as a great not just good teammate - Bergevin puts a premium on that component. Most players don't fall into that category.

I wouldn't be over-confident about their return. Prust is injury prone. Moen has a concussion , it doesn't have a timetable.
