Habs News & Notes: 2014 Offseason & Training Camp

DLR still there .. ! I don't know what they saw in him?!!This guy didn't have a single goal scoring chance in 3-4 exhibition games he played !

I knew he had a legit shot to make the team

He plays a very sound game and mature game for a 19 year old

Doesn't make any bad plays which is why you don't notice him.

He's not known to be an iffensive force but when he's on the ice his line usually generates chances

Maybe I'm wrong, but I still don't see there being much chance de la Rose doesn't get sent down to start the season.

Remember, we still have Bournival and Moen as extra forwards.

Yes , specially now with both Eller and PAP ready for start of season

you are right maybe

What's going to happen with the seventh D spot?

It's between Tinordi, who's been really bad and Bouillon, who's played what, one game?

Unfortunately Bou will get a contract and they will send Tinordi down !I beleive for 7th D better to have a veteran than a young guy like Tinordi who need to play ! That doesn't mean i agree with Bouillon choice ! Maybe we will look if any experienced veteran is available through trade ,waivers, etc
IMO Tinordi played his best game tonight .

What I would like to see is that they keep Tinordi....I think he's better suited to stay up with the team and practice with NHLers and get in some games here and there.

I don't think he has anything to learn in the AHL...his issue is getting up to speed with NHL speed, he's not gonna learn that in the AHL.

If we need a veteran call up due to injuries you got Drewiske who had a pretty decent camp

No need for Bouillon at all

He played his best game last night.

Still two cuts to come (plus releasong boubou)

DLR reminds me of Sandstrom....that player we got in the Jeff Hackett trade....

Very sound defensively, but no offensive game.

I'm sure DLR will eventually do much better in the offense department....people forget he's only 19....

No reason at all to keep boy as a 7th dmen. If we have a dmen go down with injury if rather see a young guy getting a shot.

Our 7th d slot has gotten 40-50 games or more every year i looked at it (except the lockout year). Im fine with that for tinordi. Im not good with 50 games of boullion

Tinordi's developement will be better playing 40-50 NHL games and practicing day in and day out with NHLers rather than big minutes in the AHL

That's a good amount of games. Better served having a younger guy play those minutes.

The Bulldogs won Game 3 against the IceCaps 4-0.

Joe Finley, Daniel Carr and Riley Brace (2) with the goals. Joey MacDonald with the 22-save shutout.

Newly-acquired Eric Tangradi played on a line with T.J. Hensick and Nick Sorkin.

Joey Mcdo was nice pick by organisation If something happen to Toks , he can do the job done as back up for while .
