Habs re-sign Joel Armia for four years, $13.6 million ($3.4M AAV)

I mean Savard at $2m ish is serviceable.

I want the guys at can't have apparently. Dougie.

If Reilly got $3M x 3 and Montour $3.5M x 3, how does Savard not get $4M to $4.5m+?

He's not a world beater, but he's way better than those two.

That's a good guess. I would think along those lines.

He's a right handed Edmundsson / Chiarot type. I personally think we already have plenty of those, but what do I know...
Romanov - Savard will make a very good pairing IMO

I think so too, but I doubt that where he'll be. Savard could be a good second pairing RHD if Romanov was good enough for those minutes & situations.

I think it'll be

Edmundson - Petry
Chiarot - Savard
Romanov - Wideman (until a real replacement is acquired)

As I’ve mentioned before, I expect they’ll go with 9-man D:

Edmundson-Petry
Romanov- Savard
Chiarot - Wideman

Wideman will get PP, Savard lots of PK / late period / game situations
