Disagree. If there's 4-5 others as good as Nick? You could make a serious run because of no dropoff.
Closest thing we might be able to pull off is the Vegas/Blues cup team with no elite talent
However you need that 1D and a fucken kick ass top 9 and a bunch of role players overachieving including your goalie

Given what was available at the draft, I’m okay with our pick. People were upset about Cooley at the beginning of the season. Cooley will be a 2nd line center at most. Slaf can have a bigger impact on games.

He’s the ultimate goalpost mover.
I have no issue with Slaf , highest upside of any player
Like CH1 said we drafted a project , who is getting better by the game
