If you listen to what Boisvert said, he noted that Hutson is an elite stick handler. By "gadjet" he doesn't mean Kordell Stewart who was a better runner than passer, just that he isnt the lynch pin of your back end. Hitson's efficacy will largely depend on who plays with him on the other point. Could be Guhle, could be Orville, could be Mailloux.
Please, it was a passive aggressive way to shit on Lane.

8-10 legit 1D and C
I look at can they be the 1D or C an a cup team
I like Suzuki but he is a few notches below that class but on a weaker team he is your 1C

8-10 1D/1C makes no sense. We're better talking about tiers instead if we want to have a discussion. What you're referring to are elite/future HOF players.
Your going to get exemptions as Bobby Mac would say
Panthers had 2 2D and 2 3D on that top 4 more than enough when the aggregate is taken into account
OEL and Kulikov played very well as depth D most teams would have plugs trying to play well
Is ROR a 1C ...no but he was a beast for 2 months and played like 1
Blues and Vegas had tremendous depth on all 4 lines without having a top 1C
Jack played like a high end 1C but up to that point didnt produce like one
If you go back 20 years I think most teams had that 1D/1C combo

I expected at least 10 bad games. As usual though, coaches outhink themselves. He was getting better with 14 and 13 but hey, let's shake up the lines, so Dach's play drops, same with 20 after he came off that line earlier.
Could be back next week.
