He can be, and he'll have to figure it out how to be one if he wants to be in this league. Hockey sense is good, defensively he's fine, but he needs to up his compete level.

Unfortunately, while it can fluctuate for a player over his career, I don't think it can ever be truly fixed, it's kind of a DNA thing.
