Interesting Fowler did not sign an ATO, rather a 1-way AHL deal for remainder of season …

Does that make him unable to play for the big team this year?

His contract was already signed for 25-26. They would need to give him another contract to play for Habs. Don't expect it.

Apparently he wants to play and with the Habs in a race they couldn't guarantee it to him. I'm betting he gets games in Laval since they've already clinched.
