He didn't make a pro hunting video, he made an anti gun control video and is a member of the Canadian version of the NRA. He's a gun nut.

And we also know that the biggest anti tax whiners were also vaxxed. Fox News was the biggest spreader of lies and every single Fox employee was vaxxed as per company policy.

The law he was lobbying against is a gun control measure that was not aimed at hunters. He was doing the video on behalf of the CCFR, which is a gun nut organization in cahoots with the NRA down south. Their logo doesn't even have a hunting rifle in it, but a military assault rifle of the type which no mouth-breathing prairie inbred should have access to without first enlisting in the armed forces.

No. For one thing, he's not from the prairies. I'm calling the gun nut organization he shills for a bunch of prairie inbreds that Price should seek to have nothing to do with.

And the fact that he was good at sportsing doesn't give him a free pass to be a willfully ignorant anti-vax gun nut any more than Gretzky's athletic talent excuses his fascism or the talent on the 2018 WJC team excuses their predatory sexual assault. Being good at sports is not a hall pass for someone to be a disgusting piece of shit in other aspects of their lives. And when they make those unsavory aspects of their lives public, either by making promotional videos for gun nut organizations or endorsing a fascist for President, they deserve whatever blowback they get.

So Price was a great goalie. Cool story, bro. I don't give a shit for two reasons: first and foremost, he didn't win a Cup, and second, he supports causes which I, and which, I would argue, most rational people, find reprehensible.

I am 100% in support of Gun Control , Bill C 21 was/is a great idea until it went too far and was an over reach in regards to hunting rifles.

Because too many in the press corps, especially among sports types, are the same fawning fanboys that you are. How did Price get away with being an addict for so long? Because members of the media chose not to notice for fear of losing their access. A sports reporter who has their access cut off is a soon-to-be "freelance" reporter with no press pass to the next game. Sports team managers and owners have used this as a cudgel for years. I still remember when Harold Ballard barred certain reporters from Maple Leaf Gardens when he thought they were being too critical of the Leafs (who were garbage)

We saw it in a different context just a couple of days ago with Trump, when asked a question he didn't like. "Look kid, this is your big break. I chose you for this interview but you're not being very nice to me right now."

Jack Todd no longer relies on dressing room or team plane access in order to make his living so he can speak more freely than an Eric Engels or an Arpon Basu. When something is bullshit he can call it that. He doesn't have to pretend it's ice cream like beat reporters do.

But then again, you have always viewed the media as something which should only promote the home team and never criticize them or say anything negative. You seem to think that the media should act like the team's public relations department instead of like journalists. That's why you hate people like Rick Westhead, who knows that the proper term to describe a hockey player who rapes women is "rapist", not "hockey player".

You seem to think the Montreal media fawns over the team and that is hardly the case. Cowan tells it as he sees it. Basu thinks he's smarter than everyone (he isn't) but he is at least somewhat fair. Todd will only like you if you agree with him politically (nothing to do with on ice_

Whether Price had an addiction issue or not is a personal matter in any event. Why would RDS/TVA/Gazette etc. discuss it? What's next, oh a Hab was seen out with someone not his wife or gasp might be bisexual? Why should the news report such things?

Price's right to privacy evaporates when he decides to shill for lobby groups. At that point, he's volunteering for public scrutiny. Same with Gretzky. You can't be wearing a MAGA hat at a Trump inauguration rally while the guy you support is talking about annexing your country and get off scot-free. When you wade into those waters you are now "in the arena".

And Price's addiction issues cease being private when he's being paid $10.5 million to play for the Habs. That money ain't free and when an addiction impacts your ability to fulfill the terms of your contract, that's news about which the people have a right to know. You want privacy? Go live on a farm and stay off social media. Don't make videos for gun nuts.

His addiction never hurt him from playing for us, his knee did, so again, you are wrong and are blinded by politics. Your world view is, if you vote like I do, you are good, if you don't you are evil.
 
There are some people here who know jack shit about firearms probably because they prefer to get pegged from their wives instead of being a real man. I love Price and everything he stands for, but the media loves to scare the public because they know they can brainwash people.
