Habs Season Thread: Offseason 2025

Caufield Suzuki Slaf
Anderson Evans Gallagher

Are likely set lines. The other two will be blenders.

I suspect the season starts with

Laine Dach Demidov
Bolduc Veleno Newhook

With Bolduc eventually replacing Laine
“Eventually” means no later than game 10.

Texted with Count.

He suspects that Ulanov may have collided with Malakhov, which was also my original thought. He's not 100% certain but Id be inclined to agree here.

As a matter of fact, Poulin's short-handed goal against Boston turned out to be the winner. The down side of this game: Ulanov was severely injured after colliding with teammate Popovic at center ice.

To make things look even worse, Boston opened the score on that play... Well, it was written in the sky that Montreal would have to pay the price if it wanted to get away with the victory: Bordeleau, Corson and Bure left the game in the second period. But, what matters most is that Montreal outshot Boston (33-19), a tough Eastern conference squad and, above all, they won at home which is a rare event this season.

Savard, Vadnais and Boudrias didn’t even want to draft Saku - the GM only caved because JC Tremblay literally was going to kick the living shit out of Chief Scout Boudrias in his office
Just looking at that draft. From what I could see saku was third in points from that draft
