Kreider is a one year placeholder -- don't see him as an impediment to getting a younger mainstay. In fact, it makes trading existing roster players easier.

next year....when lots of money comes off the books. More than $17M freed up by Gallagher retention/Josh/Dano/ and Monty alone

$2.15M start of the season cap hit, $5.4M (including $3.25M bonus) end of season cap hit, any amount exceeding cap ceiling is deducted from next seasons cap

I get the sense HuGo aren’t done, major move coming
