Hugo probably has a few deals in the works but me thinks has no intentions to pony up the player salary if its lets say Marchenko

Regime probably has no issue paying the acquisition price for lets say a Larkin signed caliber player

Let’s say Marchenko costs Zharovsky + Bolduc + Xhakej + 1st… have to wonder if Hughes can get a similar deal done with Danny billions as he’s done w the core

Not one player on the roster, even Dobson, was above 10% of cap in first year of contract (and then it just decreases). Suzuki was close, but still under 10.

That’s very uncommon. Multiply through 4 or 5 contracts, and that buys an extra top calibre player.

Matthews was > 15% in his first year, Willie was > 12. Several teams have a bunch of guys above 10%.

Sid’s $8.7M was 16% of the cap during yr 1

What HuGo have been able to pull off has been nothing short of masterclass, kudos to MB for inking Suzuki early
