This is a whatever move. Perry had some timely goals last playoffs, but he wasn't much of a factor. He'll be like Frolik and be a spectator for the most part.

If he's a regular and it's not because of injuries? Uh oh.

Insurance policy like Frolik. The lack of depth has hurt the Habs for a few seasons now. Once Byron and Drouin pull their annual injury parade the Habs start losing. This is for that.
