Sure, but having an edge on other teams because "our third RHD >>> whoever Toronto has" means little to nothing for me.Well obviously, it'd be nice to roll elite lines to keep up with the Leafs and the Bolts of the world.....but it's not to accumulate that type of high end talent.
But you try to get an edge where you can -- and if you can outplay the opposition for those 20 mins where lines 3 and 4 are on, you will be rewarded with a win some of the time.
There’s a higher proportion of back-to-backs and 3-games in 4-nights than usual.I posted something a few days ago. It’s not condensed. I thought it was too.
Yup , for years the best we had were trash like Hudon , DLo , and what we we can find on the scrap heapwhat part of obviously did you not comprehend?
nobody is saying that building a solid bottom 6 is the path to glory, but doing so is better than not
last season the team had nobody to fill in when Byron got hurt -- that is pretty sad when you think of it.
That’s why you put the Danault line against them. They have very good possession numbers and then you hope the rest of your team is better than theirs. Only way to win without elite talent.Sure, but having an edge on other teams because "our third RHD >>> whoever Toronto has" means little to nothing for me.
Put our vaunted third/fourth line againt the Matthews, McDavid or Pettersson line and tell me how that's going to work out for us. I would guess that, more often than not, it won't end well.

Almost all CDN teams again, it’s unbelievable how restricted the US based GMs seem to be and how CDN teams have owned the off-season for the first time since pre-94 lockout IMOThis taxi squad setup allowed a lot of teams to get a head start on getting support players at the deadline without parting with that proverbial 2nd round pick.
I hope most Montrealers will be vaccinated on time for the July parade down Sherbrooke street
