Oh shit maybe I'll rebuy my pet, VEXT. I kind of hated their earnings last week but it was never about Q4 2020 for them. Maybe I'll just wait. I like being semi retired from stonks. It's a good life. Being a covid correspondent eats up more of my time these days now that we're in crunch time.

I also bottom fished DISCA at 36.30....now that nobody is talking about it on twitter, it should see a wicked bounce over the next little while

I did do a thing today. I sold my AYR that I bought at 33.94 or some shit a few days ago at 34.32. And then I bought Thumb with that at 33.80. So now I'm back to all thumb. But that'll change back once thumb bounces and/or AYR tanks.

I also bot some very cheap call in GLD that expire June 2022....this is where I agree with xtrends

chart and newsflow looks friendly for a big move. if it doesn't happen, my loss will be tiny compared to the potential reward

@Preston any quick thoughts on GAGE

I nibbled on some under $2 -- it's trading like it's going out of business but the last time I looked it seems to be in decent shape

I don't know TOO MUCH about the company but Michigan is more like Oregon than Illinois/PA in terms of opportunity for MSOs. There are a trillion dispensaries and they're all concentrated in specific cities that cities have allowed for weed sales. A lot of cities have opted out. It's one of those states where you can sell a lot and make a lot of money but your margins are gonna be worse. That's why the bigger MSOs don't bother there. Cresco has a small presence but that's it.

BUT Gage does seem to be a leader there and have scaled really well and they have JW Assets backing them. I don't know much about them and their numbers and stuff. Just that the landscape in Michigan is reallllly difficult. But being a leader there with scale and no other companies even trying to compete might be a winning recipe.

TLDR: I don't know

Curious about the deets of these calls here. I agree with xtrends too if that's what he's pumping.

I bot the GLD 240C that expire 06.17.22. 1.40 each. 20 of them for $2800

My thesis is this asset class has done nothing for 10 yrs...and with all the Fed money printing pushing every asset class and alternative investment you can dream of to bubble levels, I think good old gold will eventually get its day and rip to all time highs and beyond.

Spot Gold is at 1779 today. If it doesn't hold 1700, I'll sell my calls and take a $500-$700 loss.

But I see 2200 as my first target. So the r/r is quite attractive.

My thesis on SLV last year was similar. Chart + fundies looked nice and the same applies today. Risk-reward is tremendous, I agree. I'll mull it over.

the other thing worth mentioning is that I have no desire to look at Gold prices every day, so I bought way out of the money calls that expire in 15 months. My trade is binary -- Gold either joins the asset inflation bubble or not.
