Hey Nerds: Blockchain

I'm above these remarks so I'm going to continue with business as usual here. Let's get back to the topic at hand: Blockchain. Blockchain is fucking shit.

Let's take it off-topic again.

Trulieve has completed Q3 and the number crunchers have projected 125M-133M in revenues for Q3. Smaller growth, but they had a great week this week.

Surprisingly, yesterday I was able to sell the rental portion of my TRUL warrants for 10% higher than my purchase price -- even though stock actually dipped a little. Will reload if there's a general market malaise.

Revenue estimates for Q3:
TRUL: 125-133
GTII: 140-150
CURA: 200-210

Not sure about Cresco, but I'd imagine something close to TRULs. They will all very likely be profitable for the first time ever. A Biden win, Senate flip and those earnings shortly after is the perfect storm for euphoria.

I almost wish I could lock all my pot stocks in some weirdo brokerage account that I can't access at or look at until 2027.

I'd also have to stop following a bunch of folks on twitter...and have Habsy ban me from this blockchain thread..

You would constantly monitor their progress and would get even less of your work done. LOSE LOSE

I have a baby position on aphria in my RRSP. About 10-20% green I think right now (I don't pay attention). I would like this to have canopy exposure in my RRSP for a decent lottery ticket in case constellation turns that shit around.

Bought some puts in CAT; in the green quickly but, overall, not feeling any conviction either way on the market.

Buyers lurking higher, Sellers lower, so will wait for the market to make it's move out of no man's land.

You always say this and then five minutes later say you bought a gazillion calls in acme industries, then sold half at double, and holding the rest for a little longer.

It's more interesting to discuss your wins than losses, especially if the losses are small!

HAHA You are right!. Even when I'm on the sidelines like today (catching up on email replies, invoicing, laundry), I still have a few positions on...like calls in BIGC and Haines Underwear (HBI), puts in CRM...but these positions are small, mechanical and don't require much attention....unlike when I go short ES and I'm sweating every half tick.

I don't want to hear about your $30 loss on _____ so I appreciate it. Keep the losses small as any good trader should and give me the winners. They should be far larger.

I haven't done an analysis on this year's activity, but in the past, most of my trades are inconsequential (small loss, small gain, scratch), so any success I enjoy depends on a dozen outsized winners (and limiting disasters).

That's also true in my RRSP where I'm way less active. Going big on ROKU (for example) makes up for a lot of bad ideas.

tl:dr Slugging percentage >> batting average

I barely play these days, but only becasue I mostly stick to my one sector. And opportunities are scarce when the sector is in hibernation mode. My success rate is far higher, but only because I'm far pickier. If I played more my success rate would drop dramatically.

See, if you go big on everything, and everything goes up, which it would since we are assuming no bad ideas in this scenario, you should achieve max profits and happiness.
