my LT folio is still 5% away from ATH (stooopid tech)...but maybe VFF changes that tmrw. Loaded up on the 20calls (using some of current VFF profits) so a HULK smash this week will do wonders. Low odds (decent enough tho) with the risk = giving a little profit back.

This might be kind of a big deal here. VEXT has some lowkey assets that they haven't really utilized yet. And Ohio is a fucking great market right now.

It took awhile but maybe the market is starting to price this in. I mean... even if they never expanded they're fucking cheap right now by all metrics. Give them an entry into another growing state (remember they're cashed up and cash flow positive too) and they're a hilarious steal immediately.

Execution risks are there and so is the risk of the general nature of a penny stock on the OTC/CSE but fundamentally speaking they excite me.

Bring it...I accumulated a lot of VEXT; they have moved ahead of Columbia in the past half hour
 
Most gamechanging news MSOs could possibly get and we're getting another sleepy light volume day. All while Tilray and Aphria pop off because they are sure to benefit from NY legalizing! Frustrating.

So tomorrow morning VFF and Columbia (pre-announced but interested to see finer details) report. Thumb is Wednesday after hours, Trulieve is Tuesday the 23rd premarket and then Cresco Thursday the 25th, premarket.

Let's go.

Cresco just tanked near close. Dumb. I took a small position back into BWEL at 1.10 for my only move of the day. ALMOST made the whole day without doing anything.

They had such a weird reaction last earnings. Not usual for a Nasdaq stock. They impressed but the market figured it out a week later. That's MSO shit right there. Doubt that happens again. I'm bullish though so fingers crossed!

Damn I forgot about that....but yeah, I don't think it plays out the same way. The bar is higher though, so they need great numbers/guidance

I didn't have a position at the time and it admittedly tripped me the fuck up. I was going to buy but the stock wasn't moving so I questioned myself and eventually assumed I was wrong.

I ended up buying 50-60% higher in the end.

it’s super hard to not do anything; I am trying to trade less and so far I’m finding it more enjoyable and profitable. Not doing anything would be nirvana

Yeah today was fun. If doing nothing worked I'd have more incentive to do nothing. I typically do less when everything is flying but when the sector is consolidating or lacking volume I am fairly successful at weathering the storm, although I've been particularly successful lately.

Have to acknowledge that my current success rate is probably not sustainable. Sometimes hot streaks can make me think I'm better than I really am so I try to realize that a lot of it has been luck too.
