It's official: Curtis McElhinney will get the start tonight. Whatever minor injury was bothering him wasn't enough to keep him out of the net tonight. Freddie Andersen will back up, and Garret Sparks will get to enjoy the popcorn in the press box, as well as the temporary bump to NHL pay.

It's been a long time since a game had significant playoff implications for the Leafs. It's only the second of four match ups, but the Leafs should be looking to avenge that OT loss in the season opener. Looking for a big night from Matthews who did a nice mea culpa after that game.

We'll likely need a good 4 goals tonight. Babs spread the ice time last night. Everyone should be pretty fresh despite the B2B.

PK needs to keep humming. The nasty Leafs are the most penalized team in the league.
