Danault is the only one of the aging group of players who I would have no issue re-signing.
Danault's point totals look nice, but those are thanks to his linemates moreso than it is him driving the play.
I don't agree with that statement. Tatar went from a 0.5 PPG player to a 0.8 PPG player with Danault. Danault creates tons of chances every shift and keep the play in the offensive zone. He doesn't have the smooth moves or soft hands you would expect to a top line player, but he finds a way to get the puck where it needs to be. Of course without finishers on his line, he wouldn't have much points.
