I was angry last night, mostly about the misuse of Demidov. But when I woke up this morning I was more philosophical about it (and more resigned to the thought that they look like they're going to blow it, quite frankly) At the end of the day, we are where we are, which is alive going into the final game of the season. Back in October I think we'd have all taken it if it were offered. We played meaningful games in April when I expected we'd be mathematically eliminated by Valentine's Day.

And like I said earlier, we arent the Leafs. We can fall short and be just fine. The Leafs have no such luxury. Anything short of a Cup is a failure for them, but us being in da mix going into game 82 is an accomplishment.

Win or lose, it's been a good year with the promise of even better years ahead but if the Habs want to play Game 83 and beyond, they need to win tomorrow, not lose and then hope that the Islanders do them a solid.

Just fucking win.

I agree. Even during the 6 game win streak there was a lot of smoke, mirrors and luck.

It's clear that the top players are being overused. We just don't have the quality depth to manage their TOI properly.
