It's been a long four years, the return of the magic number thread

St.Louis and Carolina are though matchups for us. We’ve been playing the Panthers well but i can’t expect us to sweep them. Boston and Toronto will play us hard. Plus two trap games against Nashville and Chicago.

It’s going to be a fight until the end.

The game in Nashville could be tough. But they don’t have to win every game. 8 should be enough. Also, there won’t be “trap” games at this stage. Just need points, opponent is irrelevant.

Correct. Only points matters. We need at minimum 15 points from the remaining 13 games. Very doable. Doesn't matter against who. We'll win some games against good teams and lose some games against bad teams.

Best part is the teams below us play each other so they all can't win every game.

Numbers and charts aside, if we’re in a playoff spot at 4 PM on Sunday March 30th (conclusion of this 4 game trip) then we’ll make it.
