It's been a long four years, the return of the magic number thread

Columbus were always gonna win out…

It was gonna come down to us winning our games…if we drop the ball, no biggie, it will at least push management to not sit back and pretend everything is alright (we need that 2C)

That’s silly.

Unless we win the Stanley Cup this year, HuGo is getting us a new 2C this summer.

So tomorrow night is a biggie. See if this team knows how to take care of business vs a bottom feeder.

Someone mentioned earlier that it’s harder to play bottom feeders at this time of the year, versus playing good teams that won’t push to avoid injuries for example

Case in point, the worst team in the league took the best team to SO yesterday

Aw c’mon, don’t believe everything you read

I mentioned that and to that point they are about to play two teams playing for jobs next season. It doesn't get easier for the Jackets.

How does that explain Capitals v Blue Jackets?

The way I see it, the Habs are playing vs themselves tomorrow. Sure Chicago has their own motivations to win, but if we show up early, forecheck, and get key saves we’ll be dandy

And let's not forget that the Canes are also locked in and will likely sit some players in the last game of the year. Nothing to play for, on the road, why risk injury.
