True, but the Habs had to put that contact on the books in the summer to start the season

We lucked out that we never had to ink any players to big extensions in the summer with that 10.5 eating cap space

Vegas unloaded Weber`s contract soon because that 7.6 cap hit prohibited them to keep some players

No luck involved. Bergevin didn't leave us anything that needed long term signing

Thats what I said this was a non issue for us and Hugo lucked out
 
If you have a chance check out the almost goal by him today. It would have been the goal of the year had he scored.
 
I once saw Yzerman score one like that against the Leafs at MLG in the late 80's. I had seats in the blues behind the net and Yzerman came straight toward me and split the 2 Leafs defenders. They tripped him and while nearly flat on his belly he put the puck right under the bar. One of the best goals I ever saw live.
