his lack of size could hurt him long term, he isn't a tank like Crosby. Last year he got away with stuff because players weren't going to nail him too hard given he was 18. This year, that isn't the case.

He will still be an exceptional player, but might not match the "next McDavid" hype.

I watched a ton of streaming WHL in his draft year

He was too good for the league but got away with stuff that wasnt going to translate to the NHL every night

Splitting D like pylons ......CMD the goat of skill and speed does it at times but is held in check most nights

Extra second and space to make plays , virtually untouched on powerplays , and players didnt physically abuse him

He got rocked early on in his career and is getting hit every night

I get he has limited talent to work with but he is not creating anything and is invisible most nights

He is a midget with no elite wheels and is a lazy defender

He would need to produce 20+ more points vs a 2 way skilled player that brings other elements every night

Patrick Kane was my ceiling but not sure anymore as Kane won an MVP and first all NHL honours

Celebrini is a much better player IMO
 
Why not Montreal or Ottawa though? Lol like I guess he’ll just check into hotel and go to bed to adjust to time and then head to Ottawa tomorrow? Makes no sense to not meet the team in Montreal or Ottawa, not like they’re in San Jose or something

Probably to get him over jet lag which usually peaks around 36hrs after landing when crossing 2+ time zones

Habs have played this entire sequence very coyly…. I wouldn’t be shocked if Demigod plays Sat night HNIC…
