A few years ago I was sharing a train ride with some 25 yr old Hab fans and most of them were like “it would be really nice but I don’t expect to see a Cup in my lifetime”

I’m pretty sure that’s changed now

My first favorite player was Keith Acton, and I liked Rick Wamsley, so that pretty much seal my first actually aware season of the Habs as 1981-82.

I was 11 in '86 and clearly remember it happening but can't remember much about it. '89 I kinda remember a bit better... but 1993 I remember fairly well. Definitely need another one soon to refresh my memory.

Luckily I got the best years of the Habs , the destruction of the Flyers in the seventies was tops

That's actually a great idea. I might have to see if I can find the entire Habs 86 playoffs from start to finish and watch every minute of it. Then do the same with 1993.
