The over hype & hysteria distracting the team should be the primary concern ..I’m prepared for him to break his leg during his 2nd shift on Monday #buddhism

Yup - those 40 & under likely never saw the Habs win a Cup. Those 50 & under never even saw the good version of Lafleur (forget the great)It’s actually a condemnation of previous Habs regimes who never came close to finding a potential phenom thus creating a starving fanbase

Don't you remember "Drouin-mania"?It’s actually a condemnation of previous Habs regimes who never came close to finding a potential phenom thus creating a starving fanbase
My first favorite player was Keith Acton, and I liked Rick Wamsley, so that pretty much seal my first actually aware season of the Habs as 1981-82.Yup - those 40 & under likely never saw the Habs win a Cup. Those 50 & under never even saw the good version of Lafleur (forget the great)
I've got the loss in 89 and the 93 win. Was 4 in 86 and don't rememberYup - those 40 & under likely never saw the Habs win a Cup. Those 50 & under never even saw the good version of Lafleur (forget the great)
Luckily I got the best years of the Habs , the destruction of the Flyers in the seventies was topsYup - those 40 & under likely never saw the Habs win a Cup. Those 50 & under never even saw the good version of Lafleur (forget the great)

We're the same age, but I remember 1986 pretty clearly. Hell I remember 1984 pretty well too.I was 11 in '86 and clearly remember it happening but can't remember much about it. '89 I kinda remember a bit better... but 1993 I remember fairly well. Definitely need another one soon to refresh my memory.
Sooo close, but then again, too late.My first favorite player was Keith Acton, and I liked Rick Wamsley, so that pretty much seal my first actually aware season of the Habs as 1981-82.
the spring and summer of 86 i was sharing a bed with the Hachey TwinsI was in college in 86.
I was 19, my dad had a heart attack the day of game 2 of the Final I did OT play by play for him.I was in college in 86.
I wish my memory was that good. We're the same age, but I remember 1986 pretty clearly. Hell I remember 1984 pretty well too.
That's actually a great idea. I might have to see if I can find the entire Habs 86 playoffs from start to finish and watch every minute of it. Then do the same with 1993.YouTube it!!
