July 1st UFA/Trade Predictions

The only way I'd be interested in Lecavalier would be if David Clarkson was going back to Philly in return.

Otherwise, no thanks.
 
I'd be very happy if we got Michalek. I haven't been paying much attention lately(in soccer mode now), are there actual rumors of this or just what you guys think will happen?...If he's playing with Phil he's our 2nd best scorer imo...Really like his game.

and no Habsy he's not that soft....Compared to what we had in Maca and others, not even close...

Yeah, Michalek is another level of softness... no thanks
 
Philly may be the one team dumb enough to trade for Clarkson... I won't hold my breath for it, but at least there's a glimmer of hope there.

The data points to Vinny being better than what people now perceive him as, which is a ~40 point player.....right situation & with quality ice time tho, he could easily be a 60+ point guy again.

He would be given 3rd line es mins and possibly top pp unit time if he comes here, not sure if that's enough ice time to get 60pts.
 
Is Vinny better than Bozak or Kadri? If not, does he bring things neither of those guys have? A bit more size, sure, but otherwise no. He's not a good two-way player. And he needs first unit PP time to put up numbers.

Pass without a second thought.
 
Hard to say. Bozak can't even put up 50 points with top line mins and elite players, vinny could possibly at this point out produce him. Kadri? He played at a 73 point pace in 12/13 and put up 50 points in 80 games on the 2nd line, doubt vinny bests that.

49 points in 58 games is a 69 point pace.
 
Michalek isn't soft, but he does suck.

His speed was always his best attribute, and he doesn't have the extra gear anymore.

I hope someone else signs him.
