Leaf Rumours

Sure, that would be post secondary of you. Like I said, the scout at that time, thought that would be real funny, me posting that on here. Every time I meet him, and there are people around, I give him shit. But damage done, and if you guys want to wring that kleenex for the next ten years, well go for it. No problem. I should have looked the kid up obviously, but considering the source, I didn't. I went toe to toe with JCY, and then he dropped the bomb on me. I actually, in a way, enjoyed the joke played on me. Taught me to be more careful.

Crosby, well, heh, look at how close he almost ended up being finished.

Forsberg, heck, the whole scouting staff is still simmering over that non-decision, to instead go with a small, surgically repaired smurf like Rielly.

But holy shit, the hundreds of correct calls over the years? Hundreds? I couldn't probably remember half of them.

I am 15 winners this year in 2013 in the stock market and some of them huge, with one sideways breakeven deal. What do some of the jerks in my newsletters like to point out? The one that broke even? Why is that? I don't even act like teeder on my newsletters. Its all real and official.

Why are people like that? Beats me. GRLT just went from .23cents to 5.35 in a few weeks. They should be carrying me around North America in a gondola.

And here you guys have someone who can actually tell you what is really going on behind closed doors, and no, you would much rather have Goebbels and co. spouting stat after stat. Yesterdays news. And hardly reflective of what someone like Randy Carlyle, Brian Burke or Larry Tanenbaum are thinking.

Reimer and Phaneuf are NOT very welcome here. End of story. Long live Franson and Bernier.

Jake Horton disagrees with this post.

Because of his hips and bent over skating style, right?

When in doubt, double down eh?

Yeah, I'm sure they're all choked that we passed on a 6'1 185 pound kid who dropped to 12th, so that we could draft a 6'0 205 pound physical conditioning freak that was considered a potential 1st overall pick before the knee injury.

Least be like the rest of the sports world and say your "account was hacked".

I don't agree with what much of Teeds has said but he makes a good point about Reimer though. If Nonis/Carlyle truly thought he was the #1 then Nonis wouldnt have gone out and acquired Bernier, Reimer has a history of injuries and a history of not showing up when it matters the most, which is why Bernier was brought in. I still think Reimer tentatively has the #1 job but if he so much as goofs the 1st game I have no doubt in my mind they will go with Bernier, basically Reimer is on a very short leash.

Teeds IMO your way off on Phaneuf, way off man. Even though he shit the bed in Game 7, so did the other 22 players does that mean all of them are being traded? The answer is a big fat NO! Phaneuf is a legit top pairing guy and the only way he gets traded is if he a) asks for a trade or b) we can't agree to terms with him on contract, the bottom line is right now there is nobody in this orgazination that can come in and replace Phaneuf's 25-30mins a game against the other teams top players. Don't even say Franson can do it because the guy skates like molasses' and he's not good enough in his own end to shut the opposition down in key situations.

So, Reimer has a history of injuries and doesn't shows up when it matters. So lets go out and get a goalie with no starter experience and no playoff experience. Makes sense.
