Bozak=Kessel. Only reason Nonis and Tan A Bum don't tell Bozak's camp that he is totally out of his mind, is because those two guys are really strong friends. And believe you me, Kessel is still in my mind the most misunderstood and underrated player in the NHL. Bozak may the most underrated player in the NHL, but his best friend is still the most underrated. IF, IF, there is any chance of signing Kessel in Toronto, it lies in having his best bud, Bozak as his center.
 
IF Vinny chooses Boston even with Horton gone would they have to shed salary?? They would have to trade seguin. Not saying I want him but it would be funny if he went to Calgary and then we traded grabs to Calgary for seguin. Just talking out my arse

So now Dallas and Detroit are both out. Leaving Montreal, Boston, Philadelphia, Toronto(longshot), St. Louis, and Florida.
 
If he signs with Florida he is obviously looking to ride the rest of his career out and collect a pay cheque.
 
I'm not sure why toronto keeps being written off as a long shot. From all reports their offer of 4-5 years for $5-$5.5 is pretty bang on for what he is asking.

I've always thought that the reports that he's entirely averse to playing in a hockey market were exaggerated, but he does seem a little quieter than your typical superstar, so maybe it's at least a consideration.

The guy plays in Tampa. It's not that he's quiet, it's that he plays in a market where there is literally no hockey media.

Remember the '09 All Star game with all the press he got in Montreal? Guy was a champ.
