Ok here's the backstory: Weiss grew up a few streets over from me, and my sister when she was younger (12) hung out at this pool hall that Weiss would frequent on Main St Markham. One day he showed up in his new ford that he purchased he pulls into the court and my sister goes across the street to greet him, he gets out and asks her "Hey would you like to go on a date sometime", she replied with "NO, I'm only 12", he got back in his ford and drove off.

What steal for the Flyers. A lot of inferior players are going to sign for more than that.

When the cap is in the 70's, the Flyers won't care that they're paying a declining Vinny 4 mill in year 4 or 5 -- and that's if Vinny experiences a sharp decline which isn't a certainty at all. He's still only 33 and many players are still very useful into their late 30's.

If Philly can manage to get T Thomas, it would be a great offseason for them and it's probably enough to get them back into the playoffs.
