Honestly, get Samsonov for cheap now and it's good enough.

If we lose 2-1 in game 7 again, it's not the goalies' faults.
 
But I am miffed. Ottawa had zero leverage. Who else was going to take him, except maybe the Hawks, who would've asked for more by not having them retain, but would the Hawks have bothered?

At the very least, fuck the 7th and get 50%.

But no, the 7th there seems almost like the last bit we could extract. Fucking useless.

Feels like they should've been able to let them keep that shit and work out something else for the rest of the retention.
