He was apparently poop in that Leafs development scrimmage too outside of a few skill youtube grammable moments. Tools are nice but without production I can't work myself to get super horny about this player. Not saying it can't or won't happen but we haven't seen it yet.

The upshot is that his tools will help him retain hype and trade value for at least another year or two. He is a pretty ideal trade chip for turning something like Kerfoot + Sandin into a very very good player with some control left. I mean, what more needs to get added to that for Chychrun? Probably a 1st

He's a good prospect, IMO. It's OK that he's probably not Niemela or Robertson.

Yeah wasn't responding to you. I agree, if you can land a big fish with this name, you definitely have to explore it. Seems like a guy that people get raging boners over and I'm not sure he has the production to back that up. But it has to be for the right guy because it's not like he doesn't have potentially decent 3rd line+ capabilities.
