Midget winger that is 4-5 years away from the league if everything goes well in development. If he did everything right over the next 4-5 seasons, he would be where Holmberg & Steeves are right now (professionals with strong production on the doorstep of the NHL). These prospect lists tend to heavily under value projectability and like to rate the shiny new toy. Holmberg, Steeves, Kokkonen shouldn't be ranked behind Moldenhauer on a prospect list imo. They've all got age relevant success in feeder pro leagues.

2) Niemela
3) Knies
4) Hirvonen
5) Steeves
6) Holmberg (interchangeable with Steeves imo)
7) Minten
8) Kokkonen
9) Voit
10) Moldenhauer (interchangeable with Voit)
11) Villeneuve
12) Douglas
13) Tverberg
I don't really consider any of the rest to be prospects that I expect to see in the NHL for more than a cup of coffee, and we'll see what Amirov looks like when he returns. Could easily compete with Knies for 3rd.
Generally, I don't think we show enough appreciation to the 21-23 yr old class of prospects that have real professional experience and success. If they're impact players in NHL feeder leagues at 20-22, the odds of them being at least decent functioning NHL'ers is pretty fucking good.
